Foundation Stage Pre-School (Age 3–6)

Foundational Stage Class I – II (Age 6–8)

High School — Classes I to X at BGS Bloomfield
BGS Bloomfield offers a comprehensive CBSE education from Class I through Class X. Our structured, inspiring academic programme builds a strong foundation in the primary years and expands into full board examination preparation in the secondary years — all within a nurturing, stimulating campus environment in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.
A Day in Our High School
Students arrive on campus. Morning assembly begins with the national anthem, prayer, thought for the day, and school announcements. All classes from I to X attend. Builds discipline, community spirit, and a positive start to the school day
First two teaching periods of the day. Core CBSE subjects — English, Mathematics, Science, or Social Science depending on the day’s timetable. Teachers use smart board presentations, concept maps, and interactive discussions.
A 20-minute break for students to have a healthy snack and engage in free play or socialise in the school grounds. Physical activity during break improves concentration in the following periods.
Second Language (Hindi or Kannada), Computer Science, or optional subject periods. Language periods focus on reading comprehension, grammar, writing skills, and oral communication.
A 40-minute supervised lunch break. Students are encouraged to bring healthy home-cooked meals. The lunch period also includes time for clubs, library visits, or free reading for senior students
Practical sessions for Science laboratory work (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) alternate with activity periods — Art, Physical Education, or project-based learning tasks.
The final teaching period of the day is dedicated to revision, homework review, and doubt-clearing. Teachers address individual questions and reinforce key concepts before students leave.
Regular school day ends. Students in after-school clubs (Debate, Science Club, Sports, NCC, Scouts) stay back for their sessions. School transport departs at 3:00 PM.
