INFRASTRUCTURE
The school is centrally located in the heart of Basavanagudi, in Thyagarajanagar, Bangalore. The buildings are designed with care and concern to provide a conducive environ for teaching learning. It has modern architecture being aesthetically designed and in pristine environment. There are separate sections for kindergarten, junior and senior schools each designed to suit the requirements of these three age groups. The classrooms are large and well ventilated; the school is also equipped with Audio-visual aids for empowerment of every student. We will be introducing indoor games and sporting activities aiming to provide physical and mental well being, agility and alertness.
LABORATORIES
The school provides finest laboratory facilities to its students. It is a veritable temple of experiential learning to understand the fundamental concepts. The labs are equipped with a diverse array of specimens and models. These laboratories provide fundamental
and practical insights into the basis of life and nature. The faculty employs a highly interactive teaching-learning methodology, which is both innovative and contemporary.
LIBRARY
The library with seating for over 60 students is a treasure trove of books, including the latest reference books, high quality fiction and quality state and international magazines. Students would have access to DVDs to extract and upgrade latest information, helping them keep abreast with the fast paced world. It is available to the students to fulfill all their information needs and project work.
HOUSE SYSTEM
The school is divided into subunits called “houses” and each student is allocated to one house at the time of enrolment. Houses will compete with one another at sports and other curricular activities, thus providing a focus for group loyalty. Students develop a sense of belonging and a feeling of unity in being a part of a specific house. The school is divided into four houses namely: Daffodil, Tulip, Gladiola & Hyacinths.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITES
School activities play a significant part in the development of students. Co-curricular activities have become a fundamental part of school life and aid in improving students’ learning at school. These activities are mandatory & necessary for every student to participate. Co-curricular are structured and balanced with the scholastic educational/ academic curriculum so that every student gets the opportunity to learn beyond studies. Co-curricular activities will be held on Saturdays intending to bring social & intellectual skills, moral, cultural & ethical values, personality development, and character advancement in students.
COMPUTER EDUCATION
Latest and best available equipment and computer facilities are provided to the students. Experimentation and observation, the basis of scientific study are facilitated in the labs. Students are able to co-relate previously learned theory with practical analysis. The school is also equipped with over 50 computer systems, affording every student the opportunity of e-learning. Slides and overhead projectors sound and video systems form the multimedia center are beneficial to the students for innovative learning. Equipment such as laser printers, scanners, CD – writers, LCD projectors together with a wide range of audio-visual and multimedia facilities give an extra edge to the students to challenge and face the world confidently.
