SUMMARY:Science and Innovation Fair 2026
DESCRIPTION:BGS Bloomfield High presents its annual Science and Innovation Fair 2026 — a showcase of the curiosity\, creativity\, and scientific thinking of our students from Classes IV through X. \nThis year’s theme is “Solutions for Tomorrow” — students have been challenged to identify a real problem in their community or environment and design a scientific or technological solution to address it. Projects on display cover areas including water conservation\, waste management\, renewable energy\, public health\, digital safety\, and urban planning. \nEach project is presented by the student or team that developed it. Visitors — including parents\, teachers\, and invited judges from local colleges and research institutions — can interact directly with students\, ask questions\, and learn about the thinking behind each project. This direct engagement is one of the most valuable parts of the fair — students practise explaining their work clearly and confidently to a non-specialist audience. \nAwards are given in three categories: Best Innovation\, Best Presentation\, and Best Environmental Impact. A special Principal’s Award is given for the project that best demonstrates creative thinking beyond the textbook. \nOur Science Club members serve as guides throughout the fair\, helping visitors navigate the exhibition and answering general questions. Light refreshments are available. All are welcome — the fair is open to the public from 9:00 AM.
