DESCRIPTION:BGS Bloomfield High is proud to announce our Annual Sports Day 2026 — a morning of athletic excellence\, team spirit\, and celebration of the sporting achievements of our students across all grade levels. \nEvents on the day include sprint races (50m\, 100m\, 200m)\, relay races\, long jump\, shot put\, and a range of team sports competitions. Students from Nursery through Class X all participate\, with age-appropriate events ensuring that every child has the opportunity to compete and shine. \nThe morning opens with a colourful march past by all classes\, led by the Sports Captain and House Captains of our four school houses. Prizes and certificates are awarded to winners and runners-up in each event. The Overall Champions Trophy is presented to the house with the highest aggregate points across all events. \nParents are warmly invited to cheer for their children. Seating is available in the gallery. The event concludes with a prize distribution ceremony and a group photograph of all participants. We look forward to a morning of sport\, joy\, and school spirit! \nStudents are requested to wear their PE uniform. Spectators are advised to bring water and arrive by 7:15 AM for seating.

SUMMARY:Diwali Celebrations and Cultural Fest
DESCRIPTION:BGS Bloomfield High welcomes the festival of lights with our annual Diwali Celebrations and Cultural Fest — an afternoon of colour\, creativity\, joy\, and togetherness that brings our entire school community together to celebrate one of India’s most beloved festivals. \nThe celebrations begin with a special assembly where students share the story and significance of Diwali — its roots in Indian mythology\, its message of the triumph of light over darkness\, and the ways different communities across India celebrate it. This is followed by a rangoli competition on the school grounds\, open to teams of students from all classes. Prizes are awarded for the most creative and beautifully executed designs. \nThe cultural programme features classical and folk dance performances\, devotional music\, short skits on the theme of light and goodness\, and a diya decoration display by students from Classes I to V. Our Art Club presents an exhibition of Diwali-themed artwork created by students throughout the week leading up to the event. \nThe afternoon concludes with a community lunch where families share traditional Diwali sweets and snacks. Students are encouraged to come in traditional Indian attire on this day. No crackers or fire-based items are permitted on campus in keeping with our commitment to environmental responsibility.

SUMMARY:Science and Innovation Fair 2026
DESCRIPTION:BGS Bloomfield High presents its annual Science and Innovation Fair 2026 — a showcase of the curiosity\, creativity\, and scientific thinking of our students from Classes IV through X. \nThis year’s theme is “Solutions for Tomorrow” — students have been challenged to identify a real problem in their community or environment and design a scientific or technological solution to address it. Projects on display cover areas including water conservation\, waste management\, renewable energy\, public health\, digital safety\, and urban planning. \nEach project is presented by the student or team that developed it. Visitors — including parents\, teachers\, and invited judges from local colleges and research institutions — can interact directly with students\, ask questions\, and learn about the thinking behind each project. This direct engagement is one of the most valuable parts of the fair — students practise explaining their work clearly and confidently to a non-specialist audience. \nAwards are given in three categories: Best Innovation\, Best Presentation\, and Best Environmental Impact. A special Principal’s Award is given for the project that best demonstrates creative thinking beyond the textbook. \nOur Science Club members serve as guides throughout the fair\, helping visitors navigate the exhibition and answering general questions. Light refreshments are available. All are welcome — the fair is open to the public from 9:00 AM.

DESCRIPTION:The most awaited evening of the BGS Bloomfield High academic calendar is here. Our Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony 2026 celebrates the achievements\, talents\, and growth of every student at BGS Bloomfield High — and we warmly invite all our families to join us for this very special occasion. \nThe evening opens with a formal welcome by our Principal\, followed by messages from our Chairman and Secretary. The Chief Guest for this year’s ceremony will be announced closer to the date. The first half of the programme is dedicated to our prize distribution — academic excellence awards\, co-curricular achievement trophies\, sports honours\, and special recognition awards are presented to deserving students from every class and every area of school life. \nThe second half of the evening is our cultural extravaganza — a full-length performance programme featuring classical dance\, western dance\, choral singing\, instrumental music\, a short theatrical production\, and a grand finale ensemble performance involving students from every class. This programme is entirely student-performed and student-directed\, with guidance from our Arts and Drama departments. Months of rehearsal go into making this evening the spectacular celebration it is every year. \nThe evening concludes with a vote of thanks\, the school song\, and refreshments for all guests. Formal dress is recommended for students performing. Parents and guests are requested to be seated by 4:45 PM as the programme begins promptly at 5:00 PM. Parking is available on campus on a first-come basis. \nInvitation cards will be distributed to all enrolled students two weeks before the event. Additional guest passes may be requested from the school office subject to auditorium capacity.
